What My Own Journey Taught Me About the Difference

My first appointment with Walter Makichen, author of Spirit Babies, was the turning point of my own fertility journey. I had been struggling to conceive for two years, and I was at the lowest point of that journey when we first spoke. I left that session with a sense of hope and a way to start connecting with my Spirit Baby on a deeper level, and within a year my partner and I conceived our second daughter.

That first session was only the beginning of the work. Over many sessions, Walter helped me see that I needed to let go of thinking my way through the process, surrender control, and view my journey through a wider lens. After years of working with him, I am proud to carry this work forward in my own way, through Spirit Baby Readings and the Energetic Fertility Method™ program.

What Happens in a Spirit Baby Reading?

A Spirit Baby Reading is a one-on-one session that offers insight and clarity. During a reading, we enter a quiet, focused space where I facilitate communication with your child's soul energy and with the Beings of Light who are assisting your journey. We begin by grounding into your body and your intuition, which helps you open to the messages your pre-birth child is offering.

The topics that come up in a reading often include the Spirit Babies around you, since I typically see more than one baby spirit around a person. We might also explore your energetic and spiritual readiness for conception, the energetic patterns that are influencing your fertility, and insights related to pregnancy or the formation of your family. Readings are available in a shorter, more intimate one-hour format and in a longer, more immersive two-hour format.

These sessions offer meaningful information and reassurance, and they are always gentle, non-directive, and respectful of your child's autonomy. A reading centers on relationship, communication, and understanding what is asking to be heard, felt, or acknowledged along your journey. It does not predict outcomes.

Because a reading is a single focused session, it offers a snapshot of where you and your Spirit Baby are at that moment in time. The clarity you receive stays with you. Lasting transformation in your own energy tends to develop when you return to the work day after day and week after week, which is where an ongoing program comes in.

What Is the Energetic Fertility Method™?

The Energetic Fertility Method™ is a deeper, experiential process that grew out of my own journey with unexplained secondary infertility and my background in energy medicine. It is a holistic, soul-centered approach that looks at your body, mind, energy, and spirit together, and it teaches you tools to work with your own energy over time.

The program is built around three pillars I return to again and again. You first build enough awareness to recognize what has been happening in your body, mind, and energy. You then gather the courage to refine the patterns that no longer serve you, and you take consistent action to realign until a new pattern takes root.

Along the way, participants learn practices such as grounding techniques, energetic clearing exercises like the Golden Sun Technique, meditation practices, and ways to connect with their future child, including writing a letter to your future child. The curriculum moves from foundational concepts such as the aura, the chakras, and the four bodies, through the wisdom of Spirit Babies, fertility intuition, grounding, feminine energy, and personal power, to spiritual connection and divine timing.

The Energetic Fertility Method™ On-Demand experience is self-paced and taught directly by me, with modules released gradually so you have time to integrate and practice between sessions. The goal is energetic alignment and personal growth alongside insight. This method is a complementary approach that works in concert with natural and traditional methods of fertility enhancement, so it fits alongside whatever reproductive plan you are following.

A Spirit Baby Reading brings clarity to where you are right now, and a program gives you the tools to keep working with your energy once the session ends.
